Lecture by economist Michel Godet, June 14, 2016

Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at the Château de Bourgon-Montourtier, 6:00 p.m.,IMG_3692image1-3 A lecture by Michel Godet, a guest of the Coëvrons Entrepreneurs’ Club, drew a crowd of 80 people eager to discover this still-little-known historic site; after two or three guided tours, the site elicited admiration and encouragement… ;-) Professor Godet is the founder of the Circle of Future Enterprises and a member of the Academy of Technologies.

His publications include *Good News from the Conspirators of the Future*, *France: A Land of Good News*, and *Free Up Jobs*. “The France of the elite may be the sick man of Europe, but the hope for recovery lies in its regions, wherever successful, bold, and inspiring economic and social initiatives are flourishing.”

They inspire us to spread the word about replicable initiatives to revitalize the country from the ground up. Yes, it is possible to have a 5% unemployment rate and 40% industrial jobs, just like in the Vitré region.

Yes, it is possible to engage residents of Marseille’s northern neighborhoods in the archaeological history of their city. Yes, disability is a difference that can be turned into a positive, and nothing can stand in the way of strong will and shared goals.

“When a dream becomes reality, we regain confidence in the future.” Thank you, Mr. Michel Godet, for this beautiful message of hope and for your encouragement. Thank you to the club president, Mr. Hubert Lechat; to Virginie Laurent; to all the club members who chose Château de Bourgon for this reception and placed their trust in us; to La Croix Verte for its delicious cocktail reception; and to the pianist and guitarist who enlivened the evening with their lovely melodies.

It’s no exaggeration to say that everyone agreed it was a very successful evening that sparked many new projects! :-)
