Sunday, February 16—4:00 p.m.: Piano: Aimo Pagin—Mozart, Chopin waltzes, Beethoven; Vocals: Sarah Pagin—“Chemins de l’amour ” by Poulenc (Waltz), a waltz by Chopin, “Fiançailles pour rire” by Poulenc (5 melodies), a waltz by Chopin, followed by two waltzes by Octave Crémieux, a waltz by Chopin, “Je te veux” (a waltz by Satie). Lighthearted songs and a surprise!

Saturday, March 7, 5:00 p.m.: Piano concert featuring Pavlé Krisc: 2019 “Coup de cœur” award from the Château de Bourgon and 3rd prize at the Mayenne International Piano Competition
APRIL
1) Saturday, April 4, 5:00 p.m.: Piano and Flute Concert featuring two prodigies, Xiaolu Zang and Yu Yuan *First half: A duet featuring Xiaolu Zang—first-prize winner of the 2019 Mayenne International Piano Competition and laureate of numerous international competitions—and Yu Yuan, flutist and laureate of the most prestigious competitions *Second half: Xiaolu Zang, solo: Pictures at an Exhibition and Schumann’s Carnival\
2) Sunday, April 5, at 5:00 p.m.: Closing performance of the Mayenne Early Music Spring Festival: *Dans le Secret des Fables*: A musical performance based on the works of Jean de La Fontaine. Music by Louis-Nicolas Clérambault and Robert de Visée.
Thierry Péteau: Recitation and Singing; Ronaldo Lopes: Theorbo. In three chapters—“On Vanity,” “On Power,” and “On Marriage”—this performance explores La Fontaine’s rich body of work, combining it with theorbo music from the era of Louis XIV.
3) April 16–19: International Piano Competition in Mayenne\
4) Sunday, April 26, 5:00 p.m.: Piano duo concert featuring Eric ARTZ and Frank CIUP. A program of their choice and a presentation of their joint CD.
JUNE AND JULY: DUE TO COVID-19, THE SCHEDULED CONCERTS HAVE BEEN CANCELED
*Saturday, June 6, 5:00 p.m. Classical guitar with Roberto CANO, combined with a theatrical lecture by Isabelle de Bodinat on Eleanor of Aquitaine: A Woman of Power and Passion\
*Sunday, June 7: The festival closes with Adrien Michel and a three-part concert—first, an outdoor performance by the Caravage ensemble, followed by a guided tour of the castle, and concluding indoors with piano music and a cocktail reception to end the event on a high note!
JULY*Saturday, July 4, 5:00 p.m.: (U.S. Independence Day, special program!) Piano concert featuring Angelin Chang, Grammy Award-winning pianist and music professor at Cleveland State University
