ARPECAT invites you to a concert by Arielle Beck, a 12-year-old musical prodigy, on Saturday, March 5, at 4:00 p.m. “Admitted at age 7 to the CRR in Paris to study with Anne-Lise Gastaldi, she earned her Diploma in Musical Studies in piano five years later with unanimous honors while studying with Billy Eidi.”
Winner of the 2018 First Grand Prize at the Jeune Chopin International Competition in Martigny (Switzerland), chaired by Martha Argerich, the young pianist went on to perform at the Cziffra Foundation’s SenLiszt Festival, Nancyphonies, ArtenetrA, Jeune Chopin in Cannes, Dracénie, Les Inouïes, Musicorum in Brussels, and Les Coups de cœur de Martha Argerich in Chantilly.

Saturday, May 14, 7:30 p.m. Opening concert of the “Les Musicales des Châteaux en Mayenne” festival featuring Eric Artz, a deeply moving and romantic pianist. BACH: Actus tragicus, BWV 106; BEETHOVEN: Sonata No. 8: “Pathétique”; CHOPIN: Nocturne in E minor / Etudes Nos. 3 and 4, Op. 10 / Ballade No. 1; LISZT: Sospiro / Consolation No. 3 / Hungarian Rhapsody No. 6 Admitted at age 14 to the Paris National Conservatory of Music (CNSM) to study with Nicholas Angelich and Roger Muraro, he earned a Master’s degree with highest honors and subsequently received the CNSM’s Artist Diploma (D.A.I.) (third cycle of advanced studies).
He also received, by unanimous decision of the jury, the concert performer’s diploma from the École Normale Supérieure de Paris under Réna Shereshevskya. A winner of more than 20 national and international competitions (including the Geneva International Competition, the Epinal International Competition, and the Maria Canals International Competition in Barcelona), he is also supported by the Natexis and Cziffra Foundations.
