Terre Sauvage Contest: The Chestnut Tree of Bourgon!

The 300-year-old chestnut tree at the Château de Bourgon is competing in the “Choose the Tree of the Year” contest organized by *Terre Sauvage* magazine in partnership with UNESCO! It has been nominated to represent the Pays de Loire region among the 26 national finalists.

To see photos and comments about this magical tree, visit the website: www.arbredelannee.com/laureats But the best thing to do is to go see the magnificent photos taken by Emmanuel Boitier, a nature photographer, which are on display on the railings at UNESCO in Paris.
