Event Description: The CPIE Mayenne – Bas-Maine invites you to an exciting morning outing on Sunday, March 6, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., in Montourtier. At least, that’s what we hope, as we’ll be taking you deep into the forest to discover the species of woodpeckers that inhabit our region.
There will be plenty of love calls and drumming. You’ll learn to distinguish between the different members of the woodpecker family found in our region: the Eurasian Great Spotted Woodpecker, the Eurasian Green Woodpecker, the Eurasian Black Woodpecker, and the Eurasian Wryneck.
