Percheron Braiding - Preparing for the Competition

, in partnership with the Syndicat du Percheron Mayennais:
Introductory workshop on braiding manes and tails in preparation for Percheron horse shows. Meet at 9 a.m. on the esplanade at the Château de Bourgon in Montourtier** 9 a.m. - Coffee and rolls at 10 a.m. - Detangling, combing, and braiding; several horses will be available. You are welcome to bring your Percheron horses, but please be sure to bring your own grooming supplies.
Braided Percheron horse tail 12:30 p.m. – lunch/picnic 2:00 p.m. – resumption of the workshop. 5:00–6:00 p.m. end of the day, friendly get-together.
